The dynamic positioning control system developed by SEASTEL has passed the type approval tests and obtained the type approval certificate from China Classification Society in October 2018, and the certificate has been renewed in November 2022.

The "Research and application of DP system localization based on multi-mode high-precision Beidou system" project participated by seastel with this DP system won the second prize of the 2022 Navigation Science and Technology Advancement Award.

The system meets the requirements of class notation DP-1 of China Classification Society. Further works for DP-2 systems will be carried out soon.
